Generator Engine Overhauling & ATS Dedicated Thread ( Advice , DIY, Repair ,Install)

what you mean by full choke,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you no need to pull the choke if you running on NG ,,,,,,,,,,

full choke i meant that the choke is fully towards air filter box side in FIRMAN
whereas in my Locin its very partially towards airfilter box

My locin is working with a very partial choke. is it fine? its now about a month

blocking the air intake with tape of partially pull the choke ,,,,,,,,,both gave same effect,,,,,,,,,,but if all the mod are executed properlly then you will not need any such thing ,,,,,,,,,,,i never block the air of my 2.5 kw generator ,,,,,,,,and in 6.5 kw i do block for one day only and very soon i realize that its worth to leave it open,,,,,,,,,,and its working perfectelly ,,,,,,,starting on first attempt with in 5 seconds,,,,,,,,

@ guru my badluck , waiting again for the light this time it came earlier then its actual time :o
it only recorderd for 8secs and light came,now i am waiting for the next!.. in which ill make a video and then moiz u have to calculate that for me aswell..!

just turn on the generator with full load and note the meter reading initial.then start the stopwatch and note the reading after a minute. do it three times and take average

i have got a 5kv generator running ...

problem is that it doesnt start on gas even aftr pushing the gass release/chole on the gas kit...i have to start on the petrol then wait for it to finish and aftr then slowly shifting to gas...

gurus can u tell me the reason of it??and most important the solution

nice looking generator ,,,,,,,same engine / denmo but frame and body is nice,,,,,,,,,,,who make a venturi in it ?,,,,,,,,,,it seems he has make at a right point ,,,,,,,,,,,the starter motor solenoid is behind those black and red rubber caps , check the pic for that,,,,,,,,,,,

g bro venturi is at right point i was doubtfull coz i saw ur pics of venturi later but its at the same point u mentioned

on relay 1 3 5 n 7 will get neutral wires n 2 4 6 n 8 will be positive is it right na?

change ur spark plug into original Japanese one DENSO,go to any car mechanic with ur new japi spark plug ask him to adjust the gap with feeler gauge at 0.4mm, see the previous posts,on how to modify ur ng kit ,its really easy and simple.. and then see the magic..

Q) How to power up that Natural-gas solenoid valve? where to take power for that?? bcoz when the generator is "OFF" at the same time solenoid valve should be "ON" to provide idle amount of gas for start-up

well i dont think there was any irrelevant comments and posts,
everyone was asking questions related to overhauling and generators,if you read the whole thread u don't need any answers cuz everything was already answered in previous posts,
same like ur asking now about how to power up the solenoid,same way everyone was asking and that doesn't come in irrelevant comments and posts,

yes, and be sure about the negative and positive points of ur solenoid valve

Bought a new green power cc2500 generator today. As my previous generator was leaking a lot of oil from the place the dynamo attaches will fix it and use it as backup. Its PEAK power is 1900 watt. continuous power 1700W. It has a different square shaped silencer which is more silent compared to the cylinder one.

Now the thing is that a relative of mine has cc2000 Its body is smaller in size but same peak and running power of 1900w and 1700w. And same engine and same looking dynamo I previously has cc3000 Which looks EXACTLY like cc2500. Even the engine, dynamo and body size all same. and on it is written more power.

What I dont understand is do the shop keepers mess it up ripping off people?

dear if you cant seach some webpages then how can you do the tedious job of engine overhaulling , any how check the first few pages of this thread and also read all the posts , you will get some technical help from those posts,,,,,,,,,,
