ok i got it , you talking about 1Kw carb,,,,,,,,,well there is really not too much space in it to drill a hole ,,,,,,,,,,i also have one spare 1KW generator and in it i drill hole at a right place ,,,,,,,,but its really not as easy as it sound ,,,,,,,i have no pic to show you at this time ,,,,,,,,,i have remove the left side stud of carb and use a small bolt instead of it ,,,,,,,,,,batter leave it you may end up in destroying your carb ,,,,,,,,,,,,
too much black around the exhaust valve ,,,,,,,its common ,,,,,,,exhaust valves always worns off much earlier than intake valves and they also run at much higher temp,,,,,,,,,you batter replace both the valves with the one which are made from old japanese car valves ,,,,,,,,,,,its commonly called "valve sa valve banana"............they use car steel valves of bigger size and grind them off to a smaller size to fit in genertors ,,,,,,,i am also using similar valves in my 6.5kw ,,,,,,,,,,they are much stronger and long lasting ,,,,,,,,,,,,
white smoke from breather pipe,,,,,,,,,,,,,it means piston rings are worn off,,,,,,,,,
