Geo Transmission stopped in Pakistan

Geo is in trouble these days because On Sunday evening, the government blocked Geo News telecast in most areas on airing Dr Shahid Masud’s popular programme “Mere Mutabiq”

On Monday also, the government forbade Geo administration to air Kamran Khan’s program Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath. However, Geo administration did not comply. As a result, Geo News telecast are not being seen in most parts of the country but every thing is stable over here in USA

Acc. to what i'm hearing in the Indian news media, Geo/Aaj?ARY tv stations are off the air.They keep repeating footage of some kinda militia storming the stations.Is it recent footage of from the Karachi incident?....What is going on?....

I agree with you on this. NO ONE SHOULD ALLOWED TO Destabilize country. if any do put him/her behind the bar.

I see something black in CJ Issue. Who backing him up? Many People thinks that there are Intelligence Agencies(CIA,Mossad, etc.) behind this,They wanted to Destabilize the nation by Civil war. for this They first wanted to destabilize Army.

The media in Pakistan, was given almost absolute powers. A law was especially made in effect to allow Newspaper owners to operate TV channels, which does not happen everywhere as it can allow one person/group to monopolize/brain wash ordinary citizens.
Given them so much of this, they abused their freedom and now making such hue and cry.
Remmember, you never get absolute freedom, you must respect and do the most constructive in your parameters.

I heard Musharraf once talking about how much he is FOR freedom of speech. A guy once challenged him during a show and it was prolly preplanned. He gave him is answer and went on about how much freedom he allows the media. Now he's stuck in a shithole which he cant get out of so he turns to ban the media. If he had balls he'd let the media uncover his pathetic acts. This country's f'd up. No wonder we suffer like this. Our whole political system's corrupt from the very roots. And any idiot supporting the banning of Geo is homo (with musharraf) or is Pro MQM. Period.
