YES !! Dobermans & Rottweilers r 1 of the Best Guard dogs too & my fav, but i mentioned earlier that i dont feel like they are family Dogs, They surly are with proper trainning, But kids in my home kindda Fond of with GSD , so i will go for it.

There is another Kennel Club in Pakistan formed by Mr. Ghuraya after going into disagreement with KCP. He has his own Kennel Club by the name of NKCP: National Kennel Club of Pakistan. But the main club is KCP (Kennel Club of Pakistan) which is more recognised than NKCP. So go for KCP which is much larger in size than NKCP.

I donot believe that army dog center has equally good dogs show quality wise as the civilian enthusiasts have acquired.
So we have a difference of opinion here

Ali supereagle has guided you well. Keep track of kcp but do keep in mind if you want quality it wont be cheap and it wont be easy to get even with money.

Mr. Imran Hussain the president of KCP is a well known GSD breeder too. Furthermore, he is the only Pakistani to have an established kennel in Germany. Check out bloodline of his dogs, you might come across descendants of 'FANGO a.k.a chips"

I quit the circle some time back, so I dont know about current updates as such... Although I've heard of Col K. Roy the famous lab breeder, and I know Mr. Subak Majeed, wonderful collector of Rotts. So you're right.. this might be true..

You can for guarding
The hadith which says dogs cant be kept inside first tells us there shouldn't be any pictures of animal or humans inside or angels will not enter the house. People just keep the dogs out and photos are still inside so why hate on dogs?
Also there is another belief that the narrator of hadith personally disliked dogs so he added the part. (this is not my creation kindly refrain from debating)

So if your mom has kept pictures in the house feel free to keep a dog too because as long as pics are there angels wont come dog or no dog

No pictures at home except for Makkah and Madinah I really want a cat, mom's allergic to it. Wanted a parrot, she complained it makes too many high pitched noises, wanted a tortoise, she finds them gross. DAFUQ? i would love a GSD as a guard dog and a pet when mom ain't watching
