WellI went to renew my driving license, Islamabad. It took me hardly an hour and by paying Extra 400 ( urgent fees) u can get it on the spot in 15 mins. My address on Id card is of Rawalpindi but my old license has Islamabad address so i faced no difficulty. They are not making new driving license of a person who doesnt has islamabad address on his I.D card now. From there i went to DC office G-11 near to high court islamabad for my International Driving Permit (IDP).
Documents u gonna need to apply IDP
* Valid CNIC with Islamabad Address
( if not Islamabad address on ID card, u need an Affidavit)
* Valid Islamabad Driving License
( Islamabad Address should be mentioned on your License otherwise you are jot eligible for IDP from Islamabad.
* Valid copy of Your Passport atleast 6 months to exporation date.
* Photocopy of your Visa.
NOTE: (IF YOU DONT HAVE ISLAMABAD ADDRESS ON YOUR CNIC BUT ON LICENSE, U NEED AN AFFIDAVIT)
