I bought the Gevey Ultra sim for iPhone 4 for $20 and sent it to Lahore, but unfortunately it's no longer needed. This is the original Gevey Ultra sim bought directly from the manufacturer. The package was opened and it was used only once to make sure it works.

This will work in any iPhone 4 on 4.3.x firmware and on 5.0.1 & 5.1 with a preserved baseband of 4.10 or lower.

If you preserve baseband, you can use regular gevey to use ios5 aswell, no?

Not sure what you mean by "regular" Gevey as there are only three types of Gevey sims, Ultra, Ultra S and Multi. Only the Ultra is for iPhone 4.

Gevey Supreme or Turbo are actually knockoffs.

I dont know which one I own but it works perfectly fine. I guess it would be ultra. I have never tried updating to IOS5. If you have done it, do guide me about it. I am interested in updating.

If you're planning on upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 then you'll have to save your SHSH blobs through Tinyumbrella as Apple has stopped signin this firmware version. They are currently only signing iOS 5.1 but this version has tethered jailbreak only.

So, if you're tech savvy, upgrade to iOS 5.0.1 otherwise stay where you're at unless you're fine with the tethered jailbreak.

Isnt untehtered jailbreak for A4 chip out? I am confused as some claim it to be there, while others say its not... SHSH blobs create trouble for me when I tried it last time
