Geyser recommendation

Got the National geyser 3 days back.
The plumber is extremely lazy and hasn't made the connection yet.. ... Its like i m asking him to work for free... Hopefully today or tomorrow i will finally get hot water

Plumbers are the most wanted professionals especially in winter. Here they charge 1000-1500 just for geyser fitting into the already installed pipes.

thermostats dont go bad normally.

basically the pilot set aka Blow set goes bad and it is a replacement item range between 500-800. with basic tools that set can be replaced in 5 minutes. after gas cut off and main burner is not HOT.

for the devices The SSGC ( sui southern gas company) does not provide any such facility for gas economy in SINDH / Balochistan

Is this Geyser timer device (which is compatible with Pakistani geysers and comply with safety standards of SNGPL) available in Karachi and readily available from plumbing item markets like Golimar, Water pump, Shershah or other markets?

Which geyser is this? The burner looks different than the typical ones in Pakistan.

Its a standard one from National.... Not the 32 gallon but 1 step smaller, i guess 18 gallon.

My singer geyser pilot and burner frequently gets put off like every day I have to relight it.
What could be the issue? Is it a product fault or the lack of gas supply from SSGC?
Anyone facing this issue?

Gas supply ofc... I also have to re light every day

Last winters had to re light 3 times a day... Cause gas load shedding was intense

sir 90% of DHA Karachi is gasless community. Phase I & Phase 2 some parts of Phase 4, 5 & 7 use to have gas available during timed slots. during 2020-2021

Now rest of Karachi is under same schedule of timed gas supply. Be thankful to Supreme GOD that you have gas available with enough pressure to lit up geysers. Several areas does not have enough pressure in stoves to prepare morning breakfast for school children.

All this is purposely & politically done to promote and escalate value of Baharia Town to devalue DHA & Other Civilized Bright locations of Karachi.

If it does not turn off so it is a problem, it is getting turned off every night so it is completely normal, in Karachi atleast
