Ghandhara launches all-new Isuzu D-Max 2019 in Pakistan

Ghandhara has launched all-new Isuzu D-Max 2019 with three different variants and 2 different engine options; 2.5 Litre and 3.0 Litre.

As per the details available to PakWheels.com, the vehicle is available at all the dealerships of Ghandhara across Pakistan and is open for booking as well. The company was eyeing to launch the vehicle for quite some time now, however, due to some problems, it delayed its launch and now finally introduced the vehicle for its customers in Pakistan.

Isuzu D-Max Hi-Spark:

The base variant of the vehicle is named as Hi-Spark, which is available in two trims and is coupled with 2.5-liter intercooler turbo engine that produces 134 hp at 3400 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,800. It is shipped in three different colours including splash white, titanium silver and D-max grey.

The ex-factory price of Hi-spark 4x2 single cabin deckless is Rs 24.25 lac and 4x2 single cabin with a deck is priced at Rs 26.25 lac.

Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander:

The other variant which the company has launched is Hi-Lander. The vehicle comes equipped with 2.5-liter intercooler turbo engine. It is available in two different trims; 4x4 single cabin and 4x4 double cabin. 4x4 single cabin Hi-Lander comes with a price tag of Rs 37.25 lac whereas the double cabin variant has a price tag of Rs 39.75 lac. It is important to mention here that the double cabin is shipped with 8 different colour option including Tundra Green, Phantom Brown etc.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross:

Now coming to the third variant of the vehicle, Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, which comes with 3.0-liter intercooler turbo engine that makes 163 hp at 3200 rpm and 380 Nm torque at 1,800-2,200. This 4x4 double cabin vehicle has been launched with both manual and auto transmission options. The manual transmission version costs Rs 4,450,000 and the auto variant has a price tag of Rs 4,675,000.

Yesterday i visited their show room off Jail Road. The trucks looks fabulous and sure are likely to give a very tough competition to the sole market player at present !
The guy there offered me a test drive which I did not avail because of limited time at my disposal !

Too expensive. the standard 4x4 double cab variant (hi-lander) should have been priced at 3 million instead of 3.9 million. Id rather buy a 2013-14 hilux at that price.

Wah a company assembling here since decades and yet unable to meet any standards yet we r happy to buy their offerings at exorbitant prices while a new company steps in, imports all of their stock, pays all the import bills yet our cry for low price from a new entrant???isn't there something fishy going on here?

The taxes+problems with exchange price combined does mean that, they're probably not profiting from it rn infact and have only launched to test the market so they can move ahead to local assembly.

The company setting up a plant here for decades has no taxes paid or investments? Or they are selling everything non custom paid?

New entrants need to cut the old ones to create market demand. Pakistani people will not buy new brands for prices near to those already avalible.

Specially since Gandhara could launch Nissan products before ISUZU.

Or else create some what brand awareness. Here people associate ISUZU with trucks not luxury vehicles.

taxes paid?? what do you mean??? we are talking about them CBUs which were imported with duties paid, bear in mind that its direct competitor which enjoy some extent of local assembly and parts localization sells 2-7 lacs pricier,, u want new entrants to straight away sell u cheaper vehicles and with features, then u want quality,,, yeah right!!!
where were you when the old local manufacturers were satisfying you without any of it???? I dont know about you, this thing is 2-7 lacs cheaper than its competitor and I would want it to stay in the market so that it gets tested enough,, we want options in reasonable price,, no one is talking about purchasing a pickup luxury truck with a mehru price tag...

we are talking about the product, its ISUZU brand, people are quoting indian offering in Pakistani 16 lacs, with indian localization, and less than half duties on vehicles,U can not expect it to be 16 or near it, its going to be 26 for the CBUs, I am not taking their side, but all your concerns needs to be directed towards those big 3 mean sucking spiders who are doing business since decades and reluctant to introduce a new model even after 10 years,,
