Bro may i ask why are you recommending traveling to sakardu from gilgit after 6PM?
Shouldnt one prefer traveling during day time?

As nagar1 described , this is the main reason , road is under construction between Gilgit to Skardu and during working hours they occasionally stop traffic from the both sides for some while and therefore it cause wasting of too much time so after 6.00 pm its construction work stop and further its fully safe to travel after 6.00 pm even late night.

Took me 10 hours to reach skardu from gilgit on my Corolla. Road conditions are very bad. FWO is working through out the road till skardu.
Any 4x4 would take less time offcourse...
