Happy Ramzan to all. I have toyotal corolla gli 2012 . Mileage is 1lac. Engine is in good condition. No issues with engine. Which engine oil should i use in my car keeping view the hot weather conditions in punjab.

In your particular case, my suggestion would be 10w-30 by Caltex / Havoline.

Best value for money oil in its league.

I have done shell 5w30.... is it good regarding hot summer conditions and after how many km i should change oil....

If I remember correctly Shell 5w30 is HX7 Semi Synthetic, It's actually quite good, In summer 4000KM is quite reasonable change interval, if you drive on highway mostly then even 5000KM is good for semi-synthetic oil.

Yes sir. It's completely fine, Here what I follow, for Synthetic, 5000Kms or 06 months which ever comes first in winter, In summer 4500Km or 4 months with city drive.

With or without AC, 5,000 Kms is fine.

Well... if you are already using 5w-30 by Shell, which is semi-synthetic, then why don't you consider switching to fully synthetic in the very same grade? like Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30?

Its value for money oil and brand IMO.
