AOA guys

I didnt know much abt cars modification..We booked our first ever car,Gli 1 month back in islamabad, aabpara showroom and its about to be delivered in few days.The salesman is asking whether i want ALTIS Package to be installed in it.. According to him it will cost me 30k and includes :

Side moulding
Side skirts
Handle of matching flaps
Wodden pannel
Fog lights

        i have to pay for its insurance + tracker as well so dont hav much left for unnecessary modification for time being.

Kindly give seperate price of each item in open market and suggest some good autoshop in isb for such modification..

From market you would get these stuff for roughly about 15k-20k for a good quality ones.

That salesman is damn stupid that he wants your warranty to be void. Don't do anything until your warranty duration / millage is available. Afterwards only go for Altis Alloy Rims, and nothing else. Trust me you would love this alteration.
All other alterations have their drawbacks. Side skirts will be pasted with lots of glue and some bolts, Wooden panels will rip off your genuine panels and factory finishing will be compromised. And keep your car originally as Gli, because ALTIS altered car looses it's market value when you would like to resell it. don't change door handles and side moldings keep the real look.

bro who told u that if he installs some cosmetic things the his warranty will be void, there are new design panels which replace the original one so no alteration, side skirts are not sticked by glue original side skirts come out and altis one's fit nut to nut, black door handles get faded and turn whitish,side moldings can protect ur door in some way, and bro who says that if u install the mentioned item ur gli transforms into an altis??? us ne gli hi rehna hai!!

Why mod a new car? Keep it stock and untouched by local mechanics as long as you can and you will love your car for being trouble free as long as you keep it.

I was too disturbed to get a security alarm installed in my zero meter cars and I have made it a rule that none of my future car will ever get any after market installation.

Once door panels, pillar and footboard plastics are removed and dash is opened, it would be never be same again, keeping in mind the quality of hooks and hinges and screws used and the poor workman ship.

In my office I have seen over the years that the cars which had after market installations developed problems after sometime, but the stock cars which never went to get any installation remained trouble free.

just change the stock rims to OEM alloy rims. this is the best mod that you can do.
