Expert advise is needed.
So i have a Automatic Gli and i have been noticing a vibration at speed between 35-55km/hour, below and above it,car is smooth.
I took the car to many mechanics, each one gave different opinions,
1-Uneven Alloy wheels
2-Replacment of chimty
3-Engine mount issues
Recently i took the car to toyota shaheen motors and the most senior mechanic there took a test drive and diagnosed that car had a undercarriage accident somewhere in past( by previous owner) and axles and bent and both front axles need replacment.
Dealership gave an estimate of 2lac 50 thousand for parts only( each axle costing above 1lac)
They also gave me the option of kabuli axles from bilal ganj and reffered me to a mechanic who gave an estimate of 35k for kabuli axles and 2k for fitting.
Now pakwheelers, need your expert advise, can i repair the axles, someone told me that he can repair the axles in 3k.
Whereas dealership people are saying that axles cant be repaired.
What options do i have?
Estimated cost?
Repaired OEM axles are better or kabuli ones?
