Obviously, as the Altis 1.6 has a bigger engine, it will perform better with a load of AC, but with GLi automatic, the AC load will make the car more underpowered than it already is.

Both Altis 1.6 and Grande are much better in terms of drive and fuel economy from GLi automatic, so it entirely depends on the budget that you have, both of the cars are equally good with Grande a little better with the bells and whistles along with the CVT-i transmission which will give you a little better fuel average, but it will come with a much higher price tag than Altis 1.6.

The rest is your personal choice.

There is no problem with the budget
I alse have premio 1.8 and GLi automatic
But gli is very underpowered
Want to switch to new one i am not considering for grande bcz i also have 1.8 premio but when i think for altis 1.6 its come with simple gearbox .

If budget is not a problem then go for grande and if u like u can also buy tucson or Sportage.

I know that the transmission system used in Altis 1.6 is too old but is still reliable and the conventional automatic lasts much longer. So, if you're just holding your decision because of its gearbox, then don't worry about it as in daily use, you won't feel the difference, but again if you can afford it, then it's better to get a Grande with additional bells and whistles.
