None of these have a good resale.

Brv perhaps slightly better as it’s Honda but as a vehicle it’s quite boring and feature less.

Don’t base your decision merely on resale. If you want a modern 7 seater Oshan X7 is quite decent, biggest size among all these too.

You have selected all 7 seaters. You have asked two questions. A agree with @mgalaxy3 with regards to resale value. from your list I have owned BRV and Tiggo 8. I bought my BRV for around 30 lacs and sold it a year later for 45 lacs. It went in 3 days after placing the ad. the price jump was due to the rupee value falling drastically after I had bought the BRV.

As far as value for money is concerned, The Glory 580 is pretty good value for money but it is inherently not too reliable. The Glory and Chery share the same dealer. Whenever I went to get my Chery serviced there was always a Glory 580 there with its engine out. Each time a different one. Also the Glory is quite underpowered. It has some difficulty going uphill with full load. So though it is very cheap, large and has a decent amount of tech onboard but has its own issues. Where the Oshan X7 is concerned, sadly, the 7 seater version has no tech compared to the 5 seater version. I personally like the ADAS and other tech one gets in todays cars. Same goes for the Sorento. By the way, if I was to go for the Sorento, I might look at the 2.4 AWD. I sold the BRV and bought the Tiggo 8 as, to me, it offered the best of everything. But after I bought it and drove it for 25,000km I felt that it has some handling and ride issues. The spring and shock rates are not well engineered. The car goes down the road as if it is drunk. It wallows left to right, needs constant steering inputs to keep it going straight in the lane. Too much road noise, some cabin rattles. Lots of power. but front wheels loose grip under hard acceleration.

So in a nut shell, I have not found a 7 seater that I can recommend whole heartedly. Each of these have some issue or the other.

Resale of brv is equally bad these days. It used to be good when there was no competition. Now, no one is buying it over others.

The perception of glory is bad here on PakWheels but when I joined the WhatsApp owners group, I found many satisfied owners. Here are the things I noted there
* build quality is not as good as other Chinese options
* fuel average is close to brv. Not sure why people don't bash brv for this
* I have seen many owners who have crossed 100,000km and they are still happy with the purchase
* both glory and brv are underpowered but for some reason only glory is criticized. Check 0-100 runs

BTW I joined the group to get DFSK after sales feedback only. Not interested in buying 7 seater.

Right now the best 7 seater is oshan x7 in terms of power, fuel average, and aftersales network.
Glory is best value for money. It's not as bad as people think here on PakWheels as per real owners

I have tested 0-100 on my own tiggo 8. It is 8.5sec. It could be quicker if there was not so much wheel spin through the gears.

I Categorized two groups of 7seaters in Pakistan Used condition and recent models.

Under 5.5M and Under 7.5M for New

Both Glory and BRV are available under 5.5M Whereas Tigo, Sorento and Oshan are available under 7.5M

I am easy to buy under 5.5M which is BRV which is slightly compromised space for us although it's 7 seater but Glory is more spacious and more impressive in looks and I like that car more than BRV but I am quite skeptical about it.

If above are not good buy then I can try under 7.5M category but l want to be crystal clear about my decision. I am looking following points in my next purchase.

Perfect 7seater with ok boot space
Good after sales
Easy availability of parts
Better resale
More economical
Good Value for Money

After my search Oshan X7 is best but I am not sure about after sales and resale value.

For better support, parts and resale, go for BRV.

Other cars you will have to compromise on these factors and imo Oshan x7 will be relatively better.

When it comes to reliability I guess Honda BRV is better than 580 Pro but the Glory 580 pro much better comfort especially when it comes to third row seating compared to BRV. The Glory also has a lot of features compared to BRV. But BRV does the job well for which it is designed for and that is to carry multiple adults from point A to B.

Oshan X7 is wonderful. A friend just recently bought it and we have been taking it around Lahore for a couple of weeks now. Already done 1500 kms and I can tell you one thing for sure...It is very torqy and fast and a lot of fun. The car is stable at high speeds (you can easily take it to 180 and it feels planted) and the adaptive cruise works really well but I don't think that's available in the Comfort version which is the 7 seater. The finishing though is subpar when it comes to things like panel gaps, quality of DRLs and paintjob and we have already had a couple of warranty claims.

If you are looking for reliability and seating space with good build quality then Sorento is a much better choice. But it has poor resale. And the current version being sold is a previous gen Sorento. It may not have the same tech features as the Glory or the Oshan X7 but it definitely will have a much better build quality, seating space especially the third row, ac performance and overall reliability.

Santa Fe is a new entry in the 7 seater bracket and is priced at around 15 million. It's a hybrid with loads of tech but Market response is not known at the moment.

Currently the most successful PKDM 7 seater is the Fortuner. It has it's lovers and haters. The haters are of two types, 1) who know it's a bit of a spine killer because of its utter disregard for comfort and 2) those who just despise it because they are tired of seeing "entitled" Fortuners in their rear view mirrors coming at them at crazy speeds with constant "dippers".

Then there are the JDM imports offerings like the Toyota Sienta and Honda Freed. But ofcourse they are part of the used car market and sourcing parts may be a problem.
