GM 7300 AMP, 2 - 308F Pioneer Woofers

I just installed Pioneer GM 7300 AMP 800 Watts Mono Amplifier with 2 308 F Pioneer woofers. I need input from you guys, do you suggest air enclosure in the box or closed. Secondly I would like to know what frequency would be best available to produce good bass and last question.. How much gain is advisable ?

My Current settings are Frequency is set on 80hz whereas the Gain is approx 70%.

it depends upon ur taste what sort of outcome u require from ur setup...if u want loud boomy audio system then tuned ported box is the way to go ...but if you require controlled sound with precision then sealed enclosure is the way to go ..

depends upon ur liking, if u like the sound rite now stick wid it

Sir they will work great in a 37hz box.

But then again if you have enough space why have you opted for the F type ?

I would advice you the same.

You can comfortable go as low as you can as long as you have the Pioneer AMP paired with SUBs.

@959.. I gotta good deal on amp and woofers.. I've been user of Pioneer 301, 302, 303 Woofers Series.. also kenwood 302 woofers.. Secnhor 350 amp but that was approx a decade back.. been there done that !

Previous setup I was using was a Fusion Active Basstube in my Pajero.. but i replaced since that was not the sort of sound i expected.

The sort of sound it's producing with this set up right now.. the punch is pretty good.. i have set it on 80hz.. but since i am planning to put Enclosures around 2.5 Inch with PVC pipe on each side of woofer since there's a partition inside.. Apart of Boom.. Would i expect punch ?

Guys Enclosure wasn't a good idea on these pair of subwoofer... as Enclosures aren't meant for it... I went to this audio shop got enclosure custom made 2.5 inch.. put pvc pipe.. but woofers couldn't produce sound... so i got 'em closed ! Now playing at 50Hz... Extra Bass option is set on +9DB Gain 75 Percent.. These woofers are kicking the ride and loving it... Cheers !
