Since our last trip to Cholistan and Bahawalpur in end of September, we were planning for a winter trip to see some snow.
And program was decided for trip to Nathia gali on Kashmir day. Because of this program we dropped all the other short trips in winter. But as it is said “Man proposes, God disposes”.
Due to office commitments of team members we were unable to leave for four days. Eventually, we had to drop the plan of North.
We only had two days in our hand, so Ziarat, Quetta was also not possible. As there wasn't much to do in Sindh for 2 days. Therefore, our destination was Balochistan. Plan was decided for Coastal highway till Ormara. Night stay at Ormara Naval base mess and return next day after visiting surrounding places. But at the eleventh hour we came to know that Ormara Naval base is under lockdown due to Covid. And no one is allowed from outside.
We searched for other options to stay at Ormara or Kund Malir but came to know that half of Karachi is planning to visit there in these days due to long weekend and so all options available are overbooked.
At last, we presented our case in the court of Honorable Hanif Bhatti sahib and pleaded for help. After hearing the proceeding, he gave his verdict that you people should visit Cave city (Gondrani) and Peer Chutta water stream on Kanrach road and camp there, if you want to stay for the night. As these places will not be flocked by public, for sure.
We were more than happy and followed his instructions religiously.
Our team for this trip.
