Good place for suspen. & steer. repair (Rwp/Isb)

AOA everybody.

My Santro Club (2006 model) has done almost 80000 Kms and need suspension and steering work. Kindly recommend some good place in islamabad or rawalpindi for this repair, also tell me where to purchase santro orignal parts (ofcourse suspension and steering) other then twin city motors?

For Suspension and steering work "Saeed Brothers" are the best. They are located in gawalmandi rawalpindi and are well known for what they do. The best thing is that their work is guaranteed for 6 months and anything going wrong with the parts they fit, or the workmanship, they replace it free of cost even in the fifth month. However normally their things last long. I have good experiences with them regarding various rides of mine for the last about 15 yrs.

Don't know about the parts as i have never owned a santro.

Saeed brothers quality of work has fallen below avg level.

Diamond workshop is near them and quality of work is much better

i've heard about a guy (not yet experienced..) whose shop is near Choor Chowk (near koh-e-noor mills). Has anybody tried him?? i had heard that he's good in doing suspension work

why do you not recommend saeed brothers?

im going to have my car's suspension repaired soon, tried a lot of mechanics and so far my experience regarding this is bad.....

although i dont leave my car for a minute un attended.
they managed to leave a nut loose which later broke my suspension part

second , i re did honda suspension with there parts. lasted 1 year exact

heard from many others the quality has gone down.

if u go there anyways make sure its not rush time! like sunday or saturday! they haste and screw up

its in saddar... Saadi road... if you are coming from marheer chowk towards kfc.. take a uturn from kfc chowk and then first left turn.. that is saadi road (leading towards kashmir road)... there is a workshop right at the start.. person is Mukhtar.. very very very experienced mechanic... just visit him and you will be more then satisfied..

there is another one... op tipu road.... if u r coming from moti mehal.. then keep on going towards the end of the tipu road.. the workshop is just befor the Petrol pump (petrol pump is near foundation medical college)...
worshop name is RASHID AUTO... he charges a lil more but NO DOUBT he's the man...

I agree on you with saeed brothers. Mostly people even mechanics will recomend but I was not satisfied with thier work.

Diamond workshop is much better.

please dont ever go to saeed brothers,they are real cheaters...i have repaired my axels of santro for rs 2500/- and right at the shop they were giving the voice as they were giving earlier..i asked them the reason,they said tht this kit is chinease..is ki koi guarantee nai hoti..guarantee walay eexels 4000 kay lagain gain...so they asked me to give 4000 more for the repair of suspension..bloddy over clever chaps..may be they were good some 10 years ago..but now surely they are not..they r just taking advantage of their name...diamond is good shop....waisay banda sochay dosray sharon main rahnay walay b tu kisi say suspension ka kaam karatay hi hon gay na...hamaray rwp/isb main saray mechanics ko bus iss ka hi naam aata hai..secondly they will not tell you that what is the problem lies in ur car..they ll just say HO JAI GA HO JAI GA...they think the owner is just non sense....anyhow some people are still impressed with thier way of working which i would say is a marketing tool n tactis basically..and people get impressed with thier casual behavior.no individual attension is paid at all...please tell me if i m wrong.???

Listen Brothers, Saeed Brother are Theieves and chor. Mujhay Honda Accord ki suspention ka 35k ka estimate diya and then after bargaining, they fixed the budget upto 17k. Then I repaired my car from Khan engineering in Rs. 3k. Its zero meter now. Plz dont go to saeed brothers. They are the absolute cheaters.

I had mixed experience with them ...2 years back when I took my 98 VTI to them for suspension it cost me 12Kwith steering change and front bushesand all...my car was greatwith steering and many people asked from where u got it fixed....i took my other 96 VTI on last Monday and after 200K kms it was its firstsuspension fixing.So I have changed front disk plates,steering and rare shocks with springs and spacing plus full bush kits.there were 6-8 people involved for 4 hours on my car and I bought the stuff from shahid Autos ( good guy to have things for your Honda).Total cost was around 25K and car is like new now.Just feeling thatSteering job is not of that quality as previous one so thinking to drop by them again to improve it.The good thing I realized about them is that after repair when the foreman( Malik) took the ride for testing to meeverything was fine but he briught the car backand while everyon was getting ready to go home at 10.00 he asked them to open the shcks againas he relaized that spring of one side is soome time making sound so he took 45 more minutes to fix it( To me it was easy for him to say its the cylinder noise)

Yes I agree they are bit expensive as compare to other gyus around but still I see alsomt 50 cars avg. for them..and people cant justtake theircares for their good names...

Youjust have to be careful about not buying stuff from them and also not to change everything they ask you to change.
