Good tailor for sherwani and suit in karachi

asalam walikum everyone
anyone can suggest me good tailor and fabric shop in karachi ( not brand shop) for sherwani and suit
i ll wear on my sister marriage if someone has experience please share with me i ll make 3 sherwani and 1 suit so suggest me

There is a really old place called Karachi achkan or something like that (I forgot the name) - its on frere road where the homeopathic market is and there is the old Agfa photo shop on the other side - its like 100 steps from Pakistan chowk.

if they still are in business - they are really good, If the old man is still alive, do not ask for any embroidery work, he will hit you with his cane.

For suits, there are a few threads on PW already about it.

there are tons of tailors who can stitch you a sherwani in saddar, like Bari tailors, moosajee etc, but honestly the only place that gave A+ quality in stitching a real classic achkan was that little shop on Frere Road Technically its more difficult to put together than a jacket.

sorry I cannot point you to anywhere else.

On my recent visit to Pakistan I found a lot of "wannabee" tradesmen - meaning they only knew some basics - but not the correct learned art.

Nowadays no one really knows what sharwani really mean mughals use to weight the tailor in gold if he make perfect sharwani nowady tailor just stitch it like jacket

Go to saddar where there are shoe stores like ebh fitrite American boot house ask someone to guide u to G MUSTAFA tailor whose shop is located in a narrow gali beside American boot house he has many shops there his name is tanzeem he is really a nice humble guy and he is famous in all my community and stitched mine wedding dresses as well as of many of my friends I can bet that I have not seen a better tailor of sherwani and suit and trousers and ask him to guide u to shakeel Bhai shop where u will get best cloth for suit and also ask him to help u buy sherwani cloth he will take u for sherwani cloth to a very famous shop but u will get cheaper rates due to this tailor he is really sincere guy no do numberi

BRO if you come from M A Jinnah road then cross the left road on which Hamdard is located and then come on the road leading to Fresco sweets - this very good shop is located on the left and i think i have seen it some days before also - Brother Xulfiqar is right about the quality work at this shop....

The great old man died few years ago. He made my sherwani 11 years back. He was fabulous indeed. The name of the shop was Achkanistan (if are coming from aram bagh towards fresco, the shop is located near Nizam Heater). Dont know still they are in business or not after the death of old man.
