Goodyear tyres

Today I am planning to purchase Goodyear tyres size 185 65 R14 for my Liana. The tyres are manufactured in Indonesia. The dealer is quoting price of Rs. 3000/- for each tyre.

It would be very helpful if the fellow PakWheelers could give their valuable comments regarding the performance of the tyres and price quoted. Further can the tyres be compared with Dunlop or Yokohama. Thanks

well one of my very close friend installed goodyear tyres of the same size as u mention with a new rims in his vitz and replace his dunlop 175/70/R13 ... in his openion this tyre has better road grip and good feel inside a car ...

as far as im concern i m a big fan of dunlop and this brand is installed in every car @ our home except suzuki FX so cant comment on goodyear never try this brand...

Goodyear makes many different kinds of passenger tyres. Which ones are you buying? Cannot comment on the tyre unless you specify the exact model.

I think the dealer said Decora tread or tyre name. However not sure

goodyear tyres are good and have good road grip

i have been using good year tires for over 6 months now!!!

Dunlop is good. didn't tried good year as yet, i remember once a tyre dealer told me that good year is not that good. dealers market those items in which they get max profit, so can't say anything. Dunlop is good.

Have bridgestone b390 on our 2.0d, and my friend got goodyear ducaro for his 2.0d. the goodyear's have a much better ride, the bridgestones are softer but tend to feel wobbly on u-turns.
