Google Pixel 3 - Restart Issue

Hi everyone,

I have a Google Pixel 3 running Android 11. The phone is not rooted and only official updates are done.

There is a strange problem with it - whenever I try to restart it by holding down power button, it turns itself off but doesn't start. Powering on doesn't do anything until a charging cable is plugged in and the charger sign comes on. Only then the phone is restarted and resumes as usual.

Is there any other Pixel user experiecing same issue? If so, is there any solution? If not, any forum that can be used to know more about it.
Any other Android 11 user experiecing this?

Did you check https://forum.xda-developers.com/ ?

It seems the most relevant platform regarding smartphones, tablets, etc.

That's where I started my search from. The only issue is that users at XDA forum are tech savvy and usually have rooted phones running custom ROMs. It's bit more difficult to relate to them!

I am running a basic phone with no gimmicks.

Agreed! But its not necessary that all of them have rooted phones and / or Custom ROMs installed.

Even if some have custom ROMs installed, then some might still be able to help you in your issue; provided they know about it.
