Got a new geyser, but no hot water

@autophile, i can tell you another short cut, cut of all the output lines of geyser, and fix hot water line in open fitting for 1 or 2 bathrooms, for 2 bathrooms no more than 3k.

About your Huge Gas Bills, i had such a problem too, the pipe of sui gas after the gas meter was underground, it was leaking because the pipe was rotten after changing the pipe the gas bill went down by 1/2 atleast !

@needz. mixing is quite normal, but once you turn off one (hot or cold) tap, mixing stops. Today two plumbers came and they checked the line and found out that the water was leaking in underground piping, because water was flowing in warm water pipe, despite closing of all taps in the house.

@punk. instant geyser cannot do the job of a regular geyser. The difference is 20 litres and 35 gallons. One bath and the warm water finishes in instant. This can also be moved when I change the house.

Many thanks for your comments. I am glad to announce that problem resolved and operation by-pass started around 10.00am Sunday, ended at 13.00hrs and supply of warm water is restored without any loss into bonkered underground pipe.

A patch of hot water piple was laid over the floor in the side alley of the house and the old pipe was left buried there.

@riz, Yeah, thankfully the by-pass operation was over in just three hours

@Sharabi, I would never do that, or advise others about it. I paid 10K per month as gas bill last year and was told by several people like you to tamper the meter, but I did not do it. It is not only a crime, but a great sin of theft.

@Autophile. we have a similar setup in our home. We had to bypass the original piping. The "Thaikedars" who construct the houses and the plumbers are way too over-qualified I guess. (Pun intended)
