Got job in meezan bank but not that much happy - pls advice

So i have been working in a private firm since last three years in night shift. The work i do here is not relevant to finance which is my field and no future growth here as it is like some sort of data entry work. I am exhaust because of continuous night shifts and gave interviews in multiple firms to switch but to no avail. Recently i got offer from meezan bank in their head office in operations. I am not really a decision maker and finding it difficult to take a final decision.

following points are the reasons:
> monthly pay is 13k less as what im getting in night shifts (i support my family as father is retired)
> HO is office is located near sher shah gul-baye (apparently dangerous area)
> late sittings (i take classes of M.com in evening which probably would be troubled due to late sittings)

If you were me, would you go for banking job or stay with your current job until you get a better offer somewhere else.

give tuitions to your related subjects, u can make more money in less time which help in your studies revision as well. join any tutor academy they will give u tuitions in no time. for info abt academies near ur home see newspaper. complete ur studies then u can get better job.

Check jobs in u.s embassy in pk. Khi lhr isl. They r throwing away jobs like anything. education Second year required pay 80k. Just check the site fr open vaccancy. Once in bank job then their is no personal life. Try ngo's. I may sound weird but even if you are phd there is no good job in local pvt sectors.

As far as growth is concern, the growth will start after 1.5 yrs, till then................ If you were single, i would have advice you to join, but with old parents not good. Plus this much is your current earning, as one member has mentioned that go for private tutions

i would advise you to keep doing your current job and after your done with your M.COM then look for a better one
And you could also give tution classes to college students

Stick to your current job and finish your school. Once your school is out of the way, you will have more free time. You can than find another job. Job opportunities will always come.

Brotherly advice, if you cant take risks then you should not experiment with your job. and specially if you are getting less than what you are earning now.

BUT

if there are any chances of getting better in MEEZAN bank then i think you should join them. IMO you already dont want to shift to the new job.

Last 3 years in night shift :mad: , mughay zara uss firm kay operations manager ka nuber day :mad: MOD EDIT: Language kee abhee parchee nikwataa hoonn , insane for night shift so long , he should rotate the workers

this is the case with most banks, my brother is in Allied and i have to say that this is injustice with yourself, i wonder how the management of such companies calls itself human. they are just taking advantage of unemployment. They don't even give health care, but they will bother you at 1 AM if the atm goes bad

Local companies ka scene bht bad ha... All bunch of loosers! Leg pulling and politics k elawa kuch nahi ata logon ko... Banks are a bit better specially head officies etc men Mahol bht good hota a...

Sooner or later u must change ur current job... It's experience doesn't count, its not related to ur degree and theres no growth... And it's a young man's job who cam stay awake at night like an owl... Mid aged people can't do call centre n data entry type stuff..,

Ur already tired and by next few years u'd b really done with it! Fed up...

So my suggestion Is change job as soon as ur m.com is over... Prepare gat meanwhile, keep revising ur old books... Be prepared for the moment u had been looking for.... Dont screw on that long awaited ideal job test/interview!
