my Mehran's fuel mileage has been improved.
didnt measured by what percentage, but i feel that it has improved much, MashALLAH.

will accurately check it after second inspection after 3000km odometer.

thats great. things are opposite here at first 100 km it consumed my half tank of fuel.

Asalam o Alaikum guys i have calculated my mehran per liter mileage on long route
a visit from lahore to okara via gt road and its calculated as 19 - 20 km/l
the average speed was 90-100 with ac on all the way .

its average is so good.what about the A/C its cooling same just old model or make improve it?

if u r talking about swift 2012, then comparing mehran vs swift is totally a different thing.
if you can afford swift, go for it after considering ur mileage requirement. (search on forums specific to swift)

i can help u regarding mehran, yes in the starting few hundred kms, mehran given me about 160-170 km in 10 ltr petrol.
and now i feel that its mileage has increased, petrol kam kha rahi he, havent checkd accurately.
i will check its accurate mileage again after getting its 2nd service done at 3000km, right now its odo is about 2000km.

Dear bilawalx, first off, despite differences between our rides, all members are like a family knit closely together. The poster has the equal right to post his ride as he wants. As for Mehran, well personally, I dont have any issues with this new model car. The only problem is that the price is not justified and commensurate with the production. Otherwise, IMHO, it is the most suitable car for daily local driving anywhere in Pakistan, Period.

I hereby also encourage Fouadbakht comments. We all here are like friends and these forums are all about to share our experiences and not to disrespect anyone.
Also read the apology comments and feel proud to have such friends who realize their mistake and felt sorry even though SORRY has nothing to do between friends.
For purchasing issue yes everybody is not GOD gifted to purchase a high quality car. We should be thankful to ALLAH who provided this facility and one thing to keep in mind Mehran is the only car in Pakistan whose mechanics/spare parts can be found in any part of Pakistan without any difficulty. I saw a couple of Honda Reborn standing at M1 waiting for car lifters service as Motor Way mechanics were not able to make those cars run on their own.
One of my friend changed his mehran look from old 2002 to 2010 with only spending less than 4k. So there is a difference between mehran and other cars.
