good decision, am not in a favor of opening dash panels, i opened mine due to some noise, felt its coming from inside but it was coming from inside the gloves box, after that i hear squeaking sound from one of the air vents, very poor quality plastic is there. So my advice do not try to open it. keep it as stock as you can.

I can see your thinking that you don't want to mess with the existing system but to have another screen to look at on the windscreen is not really a good idea as its a distraction. Better to find a Bluetooth camera or wireless camera which you can place in the Toyota emblem and use the existing in dash screen.

lol you think that i have added this as a front cam ?
bro this a dashcam, hope you understand what a dashcam is meant for,
as dr usman saab pointed this is only for recording videos,
its very useful in any Mishap (ALLAH BACHAYE).
other than that i realy like to capture videos of highways.
i dont need front cam as i have good judgement ALHAMDOLILLAH .
btw this aint distruction, i have now sticked it on other place of windscreen (near the rear view mirror)
