Starting this thread to document my journey with my ride. I’ll try to post consistently and would love input from fellow PakWheelers, especially for guidance on maintenance and parts sourcing.
Picked it up on 9th September in Lahore for 20 lakh. On the way back to Islamabad, the original sunroof glass blew off (yep, not fun 
). Got it temporarily replaced with a 2005 Corolla sunroof glass which fits perfectly the very next day. Also had a ball joint pressed and got tints done.
Breakdown of initial expenses:
- Purchase price: 20,00,000
- Corolla 2005 sunroof glass: 26,000
- Ball joint pressed: 6,500
- Tints: 20,000
Total spent so far: 20,52,500
If anyone knows good sources for Galant body parts and spares in Pakistan, do share. Especially looking for a proper replacement sunroof glass, since the current Corolla one isn’t fully water-sealed.
