Posting a thread on PW after ages - I went in to VW dealership to get myself a Golf R which is 292bhp AWD, since not a lot of dealerships had it available on the lot. I ended up getting myself a 2016 VW GTI Autobahn w/ Performance Package, Lighting Package and Dynamic Chassis Control and DSG (Direst-shift Gearbox) with paddle shifters with 220bhp and 270 ft-lb.

Loving it so far - Got one pic for now, will put up more later.

Low cost? nahi Hashim bhai, I was looking for something which I can mod and enjoy and I financed it, leasing is more like renting it out (if you mod is, that voids the warranty) and a million other things.

First I bought a 2016 VW Golf Sportwagen 1.8L Turbo - 170bhp and 220 ft-lb but it had such harsh downshifts and very uncomfortable seats and in first month of ownership, it's panoramic roof started leaking every time rained - So fought with VW Customer Care and ended up getting a 15% discount towards any new VW that I chose and I went with the GTI Autobahn.

While the Sportwagen went in for Service, VW gave me a 2 different loaner cars

My dealership gave me a really good deal on getting a layer of Opti Coat Pro which was no brainer and included the entire exterior, windows, lenses, trims and wheels - Although, the outcome wasn't what I expected and the installer was not experienced enough, ended up calling Optimum Polymer Technologies, and they have arranged for another authorized installer to take care of the Coating the right way.

So here's a good thing about it - It comes with a package called Dynamic Chassis Control, which gives me option between 4 driving modes (Comfort, Normal, Sport and Individual) with which I can choose whether I want a softer ride or a stiffer, makes a big difference with stiffer setting its great around corners and comfort is soft as a luxury car and with Individual, I can mix and match between Comfort, Normal and Sport to create my own setting.
