GPS Help needed

well i copied the files into my sd card and inserted in the gps sd card slot but it wasnt inserting, i inserted in the dvd sd card slot and it inserted fine, i kept it inserted in the gps slot and it just didnt recognize it. Will go to the dealer tomorrow and tell him about it.

Looks like the problem with the slot. If slot is fine then you will have to give a proper path once y have inserted the sd card.

can i use garmin in Nokia C6

Nokia C6 is GPS enabled mobile phone, Garmin has many software versions which are compatible with different phones.
Like Garmin Mobile XT runs well in Windows CE, Now I can exactly say that if it is also compatible will your phone. You will have to do some research on this as I have never tried this thing.

I have received few private messages regarding the installation issues faced by few individuals. I have included the crack folder inside the zip file.

Instructions to generate software unlock code for GMXT:

1. Download and install Garmin Mobile XT.

Link to the installer: http://www8.garmin.com/software/GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_42030w.exe

1. Extract the archive to your storage card.

2. Insert your storage card into your PPC, when prompted, install the application.

3. Launch GMXT, got to Settings -> About.

4. Make note of your "Card ID"

5. Launch the keygen, and type in your "Card ID" into the "Unit ID" field.

6. Select "Garmin Mobile XT" in the Sotware Product drop-down box and hit Generate button.

7. Copy (CTRL+C) your generated device unlock key to the clipboard.

8. Now open the Notepad and paste (CTRL+V) the key and save the file as SW.UNL

9. Put your newly created file to your SD Card\Garmin directory and restart GMXT.

thanks bro it didnt work for me , it didnt detect anything when i put the sd card in the gps sd card slot but it reads when i put in the dvd sd card slot but it only reads videos and songs from that.

I have this Garmin mob XT running on my Nokia C7 but it hangs at times. However the symbian 60V3 Mob XT was perviously running flawlessly on my last Nokia N79

Goto the dealer, maybe the card slot is faulty, as im guesing DVD slot wont work for GPS

I am using Garmin on my Nokia 5800 xPressMusic. Its working very fine. I am running PKMAPS on it, but they are not releasing maps for more cities Currently these maps of these cities are included.

Islamabad, Peshawar, Wah, Sialkot , Gujranwalla , Lahore, Pakistan Highways, Abbottabad , Narowal , Gilgit , Multan, Quetta , Mianwali , Daska, Karachi

If anyone have updated maps please share it.

Nice to see your GPS device, similarly I have bought Double Din system from China with built in GPS. I have gone through a lot of trouble trying to find the right Maps for my device. First of all IGO would not work with this system since Maps available for this region are not compatible with IGO. This device has a slot where you can insert a SD card.
1) First download Garmin Mobile XT
2) Download Google Maps for Pakistan
3) Integrate the Garmin Mobile XT with Pakistani Map
4) Insert it inside your SD card and load put it inside you device.
5) You are ready to go

You must be wondering why I can’t use any other software other then garmin
1) For Pakistan PKmaps, google maps and NAQsha maps are available which are only compatible with garmin
2) This device uses Windows C.E processor
3) Garmin Mobile XT is only compatible with Windows C.E processor.
4) That is why you will have to download Garmin Mobile XT
You must be having questions about these Maps
1) PKmaps are developed by individuals residing within their city
2) Google maps offcourse are developed by google with very good details
3) You will have to pay for naqsha maps so if you can afford this then go ahead.

I would recommend google maps for Pakistan and let me make life easier for you.
