Grande handling issue

Have kept and drove Corolla from 5th gen - 11th gen all 7 different generations on all kind of roads be it in city, gt roads, motorway or hilly areas.
All cars handles good enough and apart from 9th gen brakes were fine in all models. 10-11 gen Corolla have pretty good brakes.

I don't understand how some people drives theirs vehicles so badly that they complain about handling and brakes of a normal family sedan. Everyone should be sensible and treat it like a normal family sedan.

All model handles fine till 160km/h which I am totally against cause nobody should cross the 120km/h speed limit.

***, nobody drives there car badly if that is the case then why dont owners of other cars complain like civic, city e.t.c i own 11th gen corolla and i know its handling and road grip is not upto the par at all if compared with other cars in this range and let me tell you a normal family sedan doesnt compromise on safety which this car does by giving poor handling and roadgrip which leads to poor braking. Leave your toyota and drive another car like honda then you will come to know what stability and roadgrip really means, you wouldnt even know how much sidewall corolla has because you havent driven anything other than that, so your against the people who drive above 120km/hr well let me tell you speedlimit is another thing and how the car handles at speed above 160km/hr is another thing. Yes the 10th gen corolla had better handling but only compared to other gen corollas not any hondas .

I must say its a sedan raised to the height of an suv and is a mix of both, just look at the gap in the wheel arches eiffel tower could fit in their , due its poor road grip and stability brakes of corolla wear out early and i think its the fault of the car not the brakes.

and yea if other family sedans in this class offer better road grip and braking then its no need to defend this car by daying its family sedan as others are also family sedans but provide faar better drive feel and roadgrip.

Sir for your clarification yes I own Civic 2017 and in past have kept both Civic, city and many various vehicles.
These sedan are meant to be family sedan for going from point A to B.
Don't start on the topic of handling and braking better get proper cars for that.

Yes these all are family car but hondas are more fun to drive and make the driver connected to the road which is a pluspoint, sorry to say this is not the case with corolla at all.

@OP If you really want stability, you gotta drop your car, change the springs and shocks and tires.

If you are still running on Euro Star tires then you should know that they aren't very stable at higher speeds, so consider that as well.

Haha i can just laugh i own facelift grande yes you heard that right with yokohama tires and these are my views and i know you have 1.6 pre fl with euro stars. Yes your advice of dropping the car is for your corolla which dances up and down when crossing speed breakers, there are threads on pakwheels where users cars have spun out of control due to the raised rear so only you have to drop your car no one else. Well let me tell you city has the same euro stars your talking about and its waay more stable than corolla is so the fault is of the car not the tires and let me tell you even facelift grande doesnt have good roadgrip if compared to civic or other hondas i tell you! drive a car other than corolla then you will come to know how bad grip corolla really has it moves like a drunk cow on roads the driver has no connection with the road at all.

see again comes the stupid point a to b crap, well let me tell you even a ferrari can take you from point a to b if that is the case but will it take you there all boring style no, close to it is the case of hondas they are more fun to drive and give you connected feeling with the road which is not the case with especially corolla even the driver seating position is crap in corolla if compared to the competition. no ones saying that these are race cars the point is they are family cars as well as more fun to drive which is not the case with corolla atleast.

Haha thats why civic crosses 200km/hr like its a peice of cake im talking about 9thgen and facelift grande strugles after 180 with yokos? this alone shows tires are not the problem here grande has raised height which also means bad aerodynamics at highspeeds if compared to civic. Too cut it short corolla can never come up in performance to hondas.

I never said that Corolla is superior in terms of handling or stability with its default suspension settings. Civic is, in fact, heaps ahead of it, no arguing in that.

Also, you're being hypocritical, you replied to @399.ak ”Typical Toyota owner reply” to his argument that these cars are not meant to be driven at higher speeds as they are vulnerable to losing their control and whatnot.

And here you are, claiming to own a Corolla, whilst defending a Civic and City with general tires. Absurd.

Im not and dont want to but when people start saying that its road grip is pretty good on someones question that why its bad right instead of accepting and offering them a solution , it compells me to intervene and make things right as i state my facts on the basis of honest opinion to which ofcourse one can defer but not to the extent of ignorance when its in their face! corolla is also a good car no doubt but it also has flaws like other cars.

Every car has flaws, nothing's perfect in the world, but if you're saying that some people think that Corolla handles better, has better roadgrip and better braking at higher speeds as compared to a Civic, then the person saying this is just lying, i have to agree.
