Grande jerks at speeds between 40 to 70 kph

My car is altis grande 2017 pre facelift with 80k kms on the odo. The problem I am facing is that whenever the car is between 40 to 70kph, and i leave the accelerator and press it again their is a jerk. Sometimes it is less but sometimes the whole car shakes. I have changed the plugs, coils are fine too. Cvt oil was changed from toyota at 50k kms. What can be the issue

When I'm accelerating without lifting my foot off there is no jerk and car is smooth. The jerk only can be felt when I take my foot off from the accelerator and press it again. It becomes quite annoying when driving in traffic.

The car is smooth at high speeds on highways and motorways

wasnt there a recall for fuel pump issue for cororlla?

seems like fuel related, maybe choked fuel filter or bad fuel pump

exactly it is fuel pressure purge valve issue which malfunctions when filter is clogged.

So should i get the fuel filter cleaned or replace it with a new one? And how much would a new fuel filter cost?

It was from mid ‘17 onwards till jan 2020 models.

Facelift was june/july 2017. Pre facelift matlab does not fall under the recall criteria.

Normal. Don't fiddle with anything. It's written in owner's manual too. Cvt don't have any sorts of gears, but k313 cvt of corolla have simulated gear shifts which perform this jerking. If you attach toyota techstream then it will show that when you lift off foot it will go to 2nd-3rd gear for engine braking at this speed, and when you will apply slight gas again it will go to 5th-6th gear. No jerks are there when you give full pedal after lifting off your foot.
There is no problem with your car at all, no fuel, no air, nothing. Don't fiddle with anything.

You can do this, recalibrating oil pressure sensor can help, but this jerk will remain as it is.

I didn't had any work done before this problem came. I only changed the plugs around 5000 kms ago just because of this jerk. This jerk was there before but it was quite less. But recently it has started to get worse. Cvt i believe was recalibrated when cvt oil was changed by toyota ravi at 50 k kms (1.5 yrs ago)

Next time only go to township Allmotors.
Dealership don't know how to change cvt oil. Your cvt is 400-600ml underfilled at the moment.
