@Xulfiqar sir I use White lithium spray on door hinges, it works great but doesn't last very long. Can you recommend any easily available grease which can last longer? And/or a source from where I can buy it?

Newer car door hinges have ptfe bushings in them which dont require lubrication and neither does the door holder (tongue shaped thing between the upper and lower hinges)

That door holder works on friction of nylon against a pair of rubber blocks. Dont let any grease touch it, it will become very loose and the door will be sloppy to open and close, using grease on hinges will wear them down due to attraction of dirt.

I used harris silicone grease recently. You can get it on daraz for around 300. They sell it as Harris o ring grease
you can use it on caliper slide pins.

Take a marker and write made in vilayatt on the harris oring grease package.

For wheel bearing grease, look for the mark GC-LB on the package.

I have Axio 2007 model and after 15k to 30k kms the Outer CV joint boot needs replacement. What could be the reason? I use RBI made boots. But the grease I use for CV joint is local or china made grease. And I have replaced the boots 6 times but still after sometime the boot leaks, and I drive the car very slow in potholes or cateyes to avoid these issues but still I don't understand why it happens. I think its due to the local or china made grease which damages the boot. What do you think about this?

Never ever make the mistake of using silicone grease inside a cv joint.

Use the correct cvj grease and never overfill it. Always fill the required quantity of cv grease which is 90-100 grams in small to medium cars for the outer joints and about 150-180 grams in the inner tripod joint (which does not use cv grease)

Overfilling, not burping and wrong clamping of the boot causes rapid boot failure, you should also look for original thermoplastic cv boots rather than replacement rubber ones for outer joints, the thermoplastic ones have extremely heavy duty clamps which require a heavy tool to tighten so make sure your mechanic has it. Using cheap thin clamps on genuine thermoplastic boots is a waste of time and effort.

Grease for ball joints needs to have the GC-LB rating

White lithium grease has no EP rating (extreme pressure) and is for small tools and plastic parts only.

You can buy original thermoplastic boots in Pakistan but only for local manufactured cars, they are usually called “plastic walay boot”

They come with the correct grease already and following the correct cleaning procedure is mandatory before adding grease. Then you need a heavy duty tool to crimp its oetiker type clamp.

You wont be able to buy thermoplastic boots for any jdm car in Pakistan.

Cv joint grease is mostly an EP rated lithium based moly additized nlgi1 grease.

Modern ones are polyurea with no moly and usually are in pretty colours like bright blue or green. Make sure it claims to have a penetration of 300 and EP rating.
