Hi guys i hope everything is going well at your ends. i had a query regarding a toyota special grease 0888701816 clutch release hub grease i was wondering if their is alternate to this and can i use molykote Br2 plus Grease instead of this if not kindly an alternative that could work in its place

you can use an nlgi2 polyurea grease here, most manufacturers use that, or you can also use a heavy solids grease like a high moly very tenacious grease. - The toyota stuff is quite difficult to procure as they only sell it with a clutch kit.

I have used polyurea stuff for this job and also moly grease - works perfect, Please remember that this pivot point on almost all cars is a regular grease job item.

Sir which grease is best for suzuki wagon r inner and outer axle and also shed light on if wagon r bearings needs greasing like old cars coz wagon r is known for bearing issue

i recently got the clutch Spline grease from toyota and a friend of mine inquired since this is meant for clutch splines can this be applied to Cv joint splines. can this be applied to steering intermediate shaft splines and Cv joint Splines?

A lot of different products were discussed in this thread, can someone summarize good authentic Silicone grease options that I can buy locally? Usage is basically to lubricate all rubber seals and weather strips on a 10 year old car.

If you are referring to the Window Run channels i would suggest you to use Wd40 Silicon spray rather then grease and clean the channels Before

O ring grease is silicone grease.

Toyota red rubber grease has no silicones, its basically clay and polypropylene glycol mixed up.

Toyota pink rubber grease is more soapy.

You can use the silicone grease on the door rubber gaskets, or you can also use talcum powder. But make sure the rubber is very clean before applying.

O ring grease is silicone grease.

Is this high quality silicone grease? I actually got the WD-40 Silicone lubricant, however, spraying it on seals results in a lot of wastage and over-spray. I read that its not good to get silicone on the painted surface, so looking for silicone paste/grease that I can apply by hand and then wipe off.

You need an nlgi1 polyurea grease ideally. Its also known as electric motor bearing grease.

Are these greases above shared certified for GC-LB service?

in description section on daraz no term like GC-LB is used for the above greases.

Daraz is a showcase website and dont care, they only post what is provided, these certs are found from manufacturer itself, so find out from sinopec and guard.

Found the following NLGI 1 grease in market and used for both inner and outer axils, hopefully it will work.

This is lithium complex, not polyurea soap.
