Grinding sound in Gli during accelaration

Hi PW members,
I bought Corolla Gli 20 days back. I got Altis OEM alloy rims and tyres changed as well.
I have been having a problem that when i accelerate,then a sort of grinding type feeling happens in feet and steering at speeds like 40 and 80-90km.
there is no wobbling at all.alignment is perfect.toyota ppl say on road test that its normal for every corolla.
i shifted from honda so they say that you will notice these noises which are normal for corolla.

anyone feeling the same grinding type feeling during accelerating which auto vanishes once you cross these speeds or change gears.

yes bro, same problem here, even i was confused but this is normal fr corolla, honda is a bit smooth than this

Grinding noise is normally due to damaged CV joint. Get that checked.

And they are only ' normalizing' this noise to get rid of you. Tell them to sort out your problem. You didnot pay 15 lacs for these noises.

actually the foreman said that i can make you sit in 2-3 other vehicles and you will feel the same.brand new cars with 1100km mileage cant be having cv joints issues whatsoever.he said why would it go away when you change gear.

so just wanted to know what you ppl out there have to say about it.

bhai im having this issue from day 1, i bought a brand new rolla right out of the showroom

actually it occurs between 2.5 to 3k rpm

you are totally right..this is the exact rpm value you mentioned.the moment you change gear and rpm falls,the sound goes away..

It is normal, i also got suspicious abt my new corolla once, but you will get used to it soon

ussi n invisible doc Both of you please get your vehicles checked as it may be a problem in a specific lot, as by the grace of Allah no such issue(s) in my gli 2010 till today MashaAllah (done 15k kms)

no problem buddy, i thnk it is due to the underpower engine, it doesnt happen with my altis

bhai it does happen i have drive more than 20 1.3 rolla's but every car has the issue, but it is noticed by evi1

my pleasure bhai, actually i also had a honda city 07 before this rolla and that was smooth thats why i was a bit curious and after dirving many gli's and ESKELAYEE's i noticed that every car has this issue

I also having this issue in my 2006 xli, at dat specifice rpm it makes some noise and feeling like grinding in engine, its due to broken intake manifold, as these cars having low quality intake manifold material so by high rpm as mechanics do for checking 7 and above, due to which air also come to manifold fast, and due to that air pressure internally manifold i broken into several pieces, so whn u accelerate these broken particulas vibrate and make dat sound,
Solution is simple as i did, i opened dat manifold by a cng mechanic here in peshawar, he opened the whole system and cleaned, now my car is perfect, one solution is dat to change dat intake manifold, dont know abt price,
