Dear members,
I bought my bike 2 months ago, after 2 days of purchase, the gears didnt downshift in one go.
To downshift from 3rd to 2nd, I have to often paddle it from 3 to 4 times. And to downshift from 2nd to 1st, or 1st to Neutral, same.
I immediately took the bike to U.R. Suzuki Official Showroom where from I bought the bike, they first simply tightened or played with the the clutch without opening the engine side etc., that didn't work.
Then they said that the bike is new and that I should "run" it to 1000 Km like this then they'll fix it at first tuneup by simply tightening all nuts and bolts etc.
That did happen and they did something, which made it slightly better. Now it rarely has a problem downshifting frm 3rd to 2nd but has the same problem of paddling several times to downshift with 2nd to 1st and 1st to Neutral.
Recently, I encountered 2 more people with models 2015 and 2016, and they are having the same problem.
I NEED HELP! PLEASE.
Downshifting like this is risky for me on the roads.
