Day 03 (September 27, 2017)
Next day started journey early in the morning and our target was to reach at the top before the tunnel close time. That part of travelling was very hard because terrain was totally off-road incline and incline with stony and curvy track bike was struggling and some patches my wife walked on foot as it was very tuff. I was saving my bike slow & steady we reached in front of tunnel where security staff said welcome and encouraged us. They permitted us to go via tunnel to safe your time. We thanked to Almighty Allah that we have completed one dangerous part of Lowari top without any discrepancy. We traveled through tunnel and inside tunnel it was cold, mud and sand particles were in the air as maintenance work was going on at different places and big blower fans are running making heavy noise there. Moreover, it was very dark inside because proper lighting facility was not available that time. As compare to Atta abad tunnel still need more improvement because tunnel was still under construction. Now the dangerous descending part of track was waiting for us and which was another test of bike and for riders. One should more vigilance and drive with extra care to save yourself and your riding machine. Finally completed that part safely and reached Chitral (again thanks to Almighty) checked in Baba Hotel and restaurant Chatral in main bazar (Airport road). The hotel was nice, clean and staff was also very cooperative.
