Guidance in purchasing a car for the fist time

AoA everyone,
I am seeking your help as guidance towards purchasing a car. My budget is around 7-8 lacs. I am totally new to cars i.e. I will join the driving school tomorrow. So, my knowledge of cars and their operational and maintenance issues is next to none. I will used the vehicle within the city mostly but also inter-city occasionally.
Condition, millage and years of usage are top priorities for ideally a Japanese vehicle.

7-8 lac Japanese vehicle will give u problem better go for used cultus in this range or honda city
For Japanese vehicle u should have at least 12lacs. Else used Japanese vehicle will be problematic

I suggest that you buy an old mehran first, get the hang of things with that, use it for a year, and then upgrade when you have better control and understanding
