Guidance required for transfer of car ownership in punjab

Dear pakwheelers..
I am going to buy a Lahore registered wagon r in Bahahwalpur.. I am totally unfamiliar with the process of transfer of ownership.. Please guide me in this regard

go to www.mtmis.excise-punjab.gov.pk/ and verify the detail of the vehicle....get a TO form from the seller along with the other Documents( Registration book and Return file)...it has 30 days expiry period...i don't have exact idea either u can transfer the ownership of lahore number from bahawalpur or u ll have to come to lahore...

the charges are:
1200 for transfer
1200 for number plates(in case u don't have computerised number plates)
500 for passport book(if already exists then u have to pay sticker price, 200 rupees i think)
300 for TO Form as i said earlier(seller should pay for that)

Thanks brother.. Can we get T O form from Bahahwalpur excise..? Is it necessary that buyer is also present at excise when seller applied for TO form?

nahi...its not necessary but ,,, i think seller should be present at excise office during transfer process... i ll advice u to hire an agent to avoid clerical objections (ye pakistan hai bahi)...he ll charge some extra money (500 ya 1000)...i think (not sure) u can buy TO form bwp too...consult the nearest office or excise website...they can guide u better but the whole process is the same

Selman brother i have a suzuki mehran. the car is lahore registered and is on open transfer letter. the problem is that the owner ID card copy has expired. I want to transfer the car to my name. I would like to know whether it would create any issue?

T. O. Form ki validity 30 days Hai... Mujy owner ne open letter (T. O. Form) diya hai jo 7 th February 2020 ka issued Hai... Kia ye valid ho ga for vehicle transfer till date (April 2020).please guide
