boss i am sorry for making it sound like I am lost at present...but the matter of fact is that i have to go to lahore early morning on sunday to drop off sumbody at lahore airport, so was planning in advance...

hire a taxi and follow the taxi in the pug

or get chater to take you in the DC

All the way on Canal Road ..take a right from Mall road ...All the way straight till u see the RUN WAY...lolzzz

good option... but only 2 problems...

1st..last 5 times i went to lahore..i didnt spot a single taxi...

2nd.. if i go in the DC..i am never going to get there in time..

Are you going directly from ISB to lahore airport? Or are you going to start from a specific place?

minex.. depends where your location is.. If you are in gulberg, go straight to mcdonlads main blvd, there is a chowk, turn right, cross the brigde to enter Cantt.. Go straight on that road until you come across a big goal chakker. turn left from there and go straight till you find a chowk where 'ALLAH' in urdu is written.

Wahan say turn right and then follow that single road that will take you straight to air port...

Ager defence k ander say jana hay to H block mkt say go straight 'defence comm center' ki crossing chor k. Then turn Left from there. and buss seedha seedha jao. Agay ja ker gand bala jaga ayegee, bhatta chowk and PSO ka patrol pump on left and buss end meh left side per air port..

Cant say Airport road per cherhnay k bohot say rastay hein.

Aik ARAY bazaar say hay, aik Shami road say hay (which also goes to fortress), and the normally used one is the Jail road one which ends on the overhead bridge (forgot the name) jo main blvd say connect hotee hay mcdonalds k pass.

Iskay ilawa bhee beech meh say kafee road hein jo air port rd ko nikaltee hein.

keep looking at the sky to see any commercial plane landing and then start following it

I remember my dad once went from shami road and took a right onto the airport road. I never could recall how he did that though.

extremely easy if you are coming from islamabad via motorway.
Follow these-
You get off motorway on thokar niaz beg and you follow the road to canal bank. Once you are on canal bank road, just keep following that road until you reach mall road. Turn night and keep following that road and you will see airport fence and haj terminal. Keep following that road until you get to airport.

Easy peasy.

Allahamdullilah Minex reached lahore Airport in time widout being lost on streets of Lahore that day.

I met him around 1500 Hrs when he was end up wid his personal commitments & was intrested in visiting Bilal Gunj so i guide him to reach Lower Mall near GC Lahore & fortunately we met each other near Avari Lahore both were stucked in traffic so just wave our hands to confirm.
