H22 better for 1999 Civic or D17 or its genuine D16?

Even tho its genuine engine is in pristine condition. should i go for a change? if yes than which is better between H22 and D17?

these series are very old now and very hard find
B series would have been way better fit
and if you find any engine in junk it might be civil and useless
its better to stick to D16 till it lasts

D17 won’t give you a big difference. If its running fine let it be. H22 and b series is old and if you find a decent engine it will be very expensive.
