the hand brake is cable operated.
yes you can drive with it pulled. The car will drive very bad though.
if you drive the car with hand brake pulled - it will damage the brake shoes
it will also overheat the brake components very badly.
Clutch plate worn out too,in case of driving with hand brake applied.
