hi guys ...

i searched and took alota reviews from many people while planning to get the tyres and wheels changed for my 97 civic .. i removed the 15 rims and the tyres needed to be changed too ..

got the genuine honda rims in size 14 and got these Hankook 185/65/14 optimo ME04 tyres...

i got them changed less than a week ago and already have had around 2200 kms done on it .. i have driven it on motorway in rain and also have driven'em in multan in such a hot weather ... and very satisfied with the quality and performance of the tyres so far ... i think my decision to go for the factory rims and the standard factory recommended size was an excellent one .. the performance and the fuel mileage has been exceptionally good so far ...

please let me know if anyone else has experience with these specific tyres ...

i had h 706 on mehran and then had dunlop eco but grip of hankook is better
now i also gone for hankook for my alto
good and comfortable ride plus braking improves a lot

hankook is one of the best tyres available in Pakistan.many in our country dont know is that from last 3 years hankook is being ranked 7 and yoko is ranked 8 in top 10 listing.

basically they do the ranking depending on multiple conditions ... but for our country's needs and the roads conditions, i prefer it more than yokos and michelin... very comfortable with extremely good grip.... even at 160kph there wasnt any noise or braking discomfort at all while applying the brakes... i especially noticed really good grip in the kalarkahar salt range ...

I have Hankook Optimo ME-02 in my 8Gen Civic 205-65-15

Good tyres, grip is nice, less road noise and pretty soft. I've driven them hardly a 1000 km since i got them 6 7 months ago. But overall satisfied with them.

I have MeO2 in my corolla 2012 Gli. Have driven them from 17000km in one year and its comfort,stability is exceptional. Would blindly recommend it.

I remember sitting in an Fx and maybe a Mehran taxi also with these me04 tires. Despite their stiffy suspensions, their ride was pretty comfy. Really would like to recommend them, especially to people sick of hard suspensions.

I have recently installed Hankook Optimo ME02 195/60/15 in my vitz 2007, Im experiencing rigidity on bumpy roads as i can feel the bumps inside the car. I dont know if it is because of the 60 profile of the tire or is it because there is a problem with the hankook tire. Please suggest should i go for dunliop LM703 in same specifications??

It is the tyre size that is the culprit here in my opinion, i have 205-65-15 in my Civic and LM703 205-65-15 in my Crown.

I personally believe you should stick to the stock size for better comfort. 185-65-14 or 185-60-14 would be better.

Bumps are bumps, you would feel them when you drive over them no matter which ever tyre you put.

I agree with bad_cheetah here that tyre size seems to be somewhat the reason behind it. and rest one should really know that a bump indeed is a bump and you are going to feel it if you pass over it. otherwise if you were to blame hankook for it then I guess that's wrong bcz I found it to be the softest tyre among all.

How much are Hankook tires? 195/65/15 for my civic eagle eye. Its currently installed with generals.

well, its been a year when I got them changed in my new Gli. it cost me 8700 per tyre then. and the stocks were taken back by the dealer for 19000 all 4. you can find out from your local dealers in Karachi.(I believe you are from khi).

I have to replace my current tires, i'll definitely check Hankooks. Use to have them on my Suzuki FX back in the 90s. I liked them.

The noise is fine but yesterday I noted that the date stamp on my tires are of April 2011 (2 yrs old). Is there any reason to worry about this???
