To calculate the Muslim Year, following equation is used.

(Gregorian Year, Christain Calendar Year ) - 622 (The year of first Hijra, plight of Prophet Muhammad, PBUH, from Makah to Yathrib. Multiply this with 1.031 (This factor is used to compensate for Lunar Year, which is 11 days shorter (354 days in total) than Gregorian Calender Year)

So, The year - 2006 will be

(2006) - 622 * 1.031=1427.

i second salar, but muslim world/countries must do something about them now, at least economic boycott, really impotent to do some serious actions except lip service.
