Assalam o alaikum, as i am looking for cheap alternative of AC as summer really kicked in now days in Karachi and we have almost 10 hours daily loadshedding. I have seen this mist fan at expo Karachi so my question is has any one tried it and how use full it is especially in humid condition like Karachi thanks

I think there price is 9500rs, I have seen some youtube video you can diy too.
Low on electricity bill consumes only 200 watts. If it's really works good then I think it's not a bad deal.

i think like room coolers it may also fail in the humid atmosphere
What if I used dehumidifier with it?
Dehumidifier works on the same principle as an air-conditioner, and would be equally power hungry. Why not use just use an air conditioner instead of this fan plus dehumidifier.
These would be especially useful in open spaces such as lawns etc. I am not sure this much water in room in form of moisture can be too good, especially after July Moonsoons, when this will be useless.

Basically there is no light during day time when ac needed the most, rest nights in Karachi is cooler.

Yaar 4000-4500 ka tu normal pedestrial fan he tu 8500-9000 not bad , ha yeh open area me use kerne k lye zyada better he , btw dubai ko china market bheri peri he in fans se may be pakistan me import horehe ho wo n i m sure yeh gfc wala bi made in china hoga
