It starts the car remotely, vibrates on intrusion.
can it be installed in pkdm 1000cc alto 2011 model? can it be installed in a NON-EFI engine?
has anyone installed it lately?

There are different models in steelmate two way:
888M (main feature: vibrates and beep on intrusion)888E (main feature: vibrates and beep on intrusion and keyless entry PKE)898g (main feature: vibrates and beep on intrusion and Remote Engine Start)
All of the above mentioned alarms can be installed in 1000cc alto 2011, and in a NON-EFI engine.
However, In 898G the thing to consider is transmission, if its automatic transmission it can be easily installed and will work properly. In manual transmission you need a good technician, who knows the JUDGAR. otherwise betterinstall 888M or 888E.

I have installed 898G recentlyIn 2006 Altis and 2015 Gil Gli was manual Both working greatHighly recommended I also installed the remote boot release option with it
If needed I could provide more particular details/ pictures/ owner manual etc It costed me 10.5 k installed it myself at home with the help of a electricianNo jugaars needed for manual transmission It's connected to handbrake in both automatic and manual It has no option to know whether you are in P or not in auto or Neutral in manual If the handbrake is up and you haven't forgotten to put the car in natural before shutting off it works fine Only caveat is there is no protection of you don't put car in neutral but otherwise it works fine even in manual

check the above link please, the pic of steel mate you posted, does the remote vibrate/rings on intrusion? plus the remote design in the pic seems outdated as the newer ones on steel mate website are very sleek.
you are Right there but i have heard so many stories that the manual car was in gear and upon pressing engine start the car Banged its Front. normally electrician don't bother to find hand break wire instead they connect it to the nearest GND they find ........ KHAIR I was just being cautious. but you are absolutely right there. "NO JUGAARS INSTALL IT PROPERLY".

this is original steelmate. but touch screen model is not that reliable. As the battery of its rechargeable Transmitter drain out quickly (3 days max). if you want newer version go with 888E
Can you please share the price of this alarm system in the pic. And does it come with central locking motors?
