Features, comfort and utility wise Haval is better, even the tech is superior. The question is its reliability and part availability. These two aspects also define its resale which is lesser than the Civic's resale. If you are not particular for resalability then Haval is over all a superior car. I do not own a Haval or Civic but this would be my rationale for selecting amongst these two. I have had to make a similar decision btw a Revo and a Lexus RX450 and i went for Revo due to my own reasons and preferences.
