Head lights for Cultus

I saw these beautiful headlights on Xli. On low beam they emitted simple warm light but on high beam they emitted white light. Can i get these in Cultus?

I also heard of a bulb. Is that bulb fully white/Blue or is it like the above?.

I am not looking for HID's.

Yes you can on Xli. No you can't on Cultus, unless you go for HIDs that too, double point ones.

They may or may not be HIDs. Xli has got separate bulbs for low and high beams. That guy left the low beam as it was and changed the bulb in the high beam with either HIDs or the blue tinted bulbs that throw white light.

Cultus on the other hand have only one bulb with two points for each low and high beam. You can't get one bulb with different colored beams as the outer glass would have one color only.

If you go for HIDs, two points, each side will have two bulbs/tubes in it. One would be the regular HID tube throwing bright light and one would be H3 bulb attached with it. The H3 would work as the low beam and will throw pale light and HID tube would work as the high beam.

Below is the picture of an ordinary bulb in any cultus. Notice the two filaments for low and high beam in one transparent bulb.

Below is the double point H4 HID. In this picture, the smaller bulb (H3) is tinted in blue, you would get transparent and the other tube is the one with High Intensity Discharge.

Mind you, if you go for these HIDs, the visibility on road will REDUCE a lot, specially on low beams...

I am not an expert. Just told him what I know about these lights. Bro, to be honest, if you really want visibility, then you should stick to the stock lights. If you are facing some issues, just get their height adjusted according to your desire. If they have gone fade, get them cleaned thoroughly and visibility would be perfect. If you want to go for looks, then you'll have to let go off visibility. I have seen some members talking about Narva Bulbs with which you can get good visibility and white light at the same time. I haven't tried them but if it really is the case, then that would be the best thing.

Local HIDs won't serve you well. Specially when you have single reflector for both high and low beams. If you buy some good quality HIDs, then you have a chance of getting better visibility and looks.

Normal HIDs cost around 4000-4500 PKR with 6 months warranty. Good ones can cost you around 7000-10,000 PKR I suppose. But it makes a huge difference. I once bought HIDs from Dubai which I installed on my ex ride. I have not been able to find such HID in Pakistan so far. Its visibility was just too good.

Bhai need your expert suggestion. Would there be any issue if I change my cultus stock headlight bulbs which are osram 60/55 w with narva ones of 100/90 w ? I mean change in the watt ? Would it be ok without any burning issue of wiring ,load on battery?

The plastic grips may melt as H3 tubes are used for Cultus which are directly connected to the grip. However, if there is such an issue you can get the ceramic grips.

In bulbs k peechay plastic grip hoti hai jin mai yeh bulb lagtay hain. Ab agar power ziada hogi to in bulbs k points/pins garam ho jatay hain jis se plastic grips melt ho jati hain. I said agar melt ho jati hain aapki gari ki grips to Market se Ceramic ki grips lay lena. Woh melt nahi hon gi. Aur lights k saath eak relay lagwa lena, one with each light. Uss se wiring nahi jalay gi.

Waisay what is your suggestion for me bro? I actually need white light instead if yellow' so i should go for 60/55 w white narva bulbs or 100/90 w ones? Is their any major difference in 60/55 and 100/90 light output? Considering the heatup issue you are referring i think its safe option that i should go for 60/55 w white ones and then i think there is no need for any relays?
