Headlight bulb fusing

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. I have a Honda City 2007 and recently, I'm having to replace my right headlight bulb every few weeks due to it fusing and the grip melting. What could be the issue? Is it a DIY repair? Any help would be appreciated.

Which bulb you are using? Brand and wattage ? Grip you are installing is Kaabli or new ?

Its a halogen bulb and honestly can't remember the brand or wattage. Grip is new I think. Someone told me issue could be wiring.

I think grip is responsible for all this, grip melts first then bulb blows... Buy Kaabli grip as local grips are of very bad quality wires low Guage

Faced same issue in my car it was due to 100 watt bulb.I switched to 55 watt bulb and problem was solved.Actually factory wiring is made for factory bulb.To use higher watt bulb u need to upgrade the wiring which most people don't do and becomes the reasons for most fires happening in cars due to stupid nitto tape electricians.

check the grounding side of the wiring to the bulb, do a voltage drop test on it, a bad ground causes loss of voltage which causes higher amp pull which then causes the contactors to burn up.

before that, read the wattage embossed on the headlamp housing itself to make sure you are not using higher wattage bulbs than required because that will cause this issue too. Headlamp bulbs and the housings are chosen as a pair, do not install higher wattage bulbs as that will overheat the headlamp itself and overheat the wiring too.

Change the bulb and get oem grip from another car
Use a 55w bulb only. The bulb you're using is a counterfeit product

brother you are using chinese tubes use 55/60W japani tubes i hope it will fix your problem and also install relay with it to avoid the melting of holders

I changed the melted grip and replaced it myself with a qabli I purchased from bilal gunj, problem solved and grip feels much better quality.
