I was traveling from Karachi to Rawalpindi in recently purchased Suzuki Khyber 1998:
- Replaced Temperature Switch in Karachi

Radiator leakage was fixed in Karachi
- Replaced Water Body at Qazi Ahmed
- Replaced Gasket & Water Body (the previous Water Body got damaged because Generator's loose bolt), get oil & oil-filter changed at Vehari
I’ve finally reached Rawalpindi and settled in. But there are still a few issues with the car:
The temperature meter is not working properly. It keeps showing a high reading (above the middle level). During the journey, I made a few stops to check the radiator. The water was hot, but it wasn’t boiling or overflowing, everything looked fine.
While driving at 80–100 km/h, the car runs okay. But as soon as I press the accelerator to go faster, the temperature meter goes high again.
After parking the car, I noticed water marks on the floor under the radiator. It looks like something might be leaking.
Where I can find reliable mechanic in Rawalpindi, who will use just genuine spare parts (if required).
Additional fixes required:
1. Speedometer is not working at all
2. Timing Belt Seal seems like damaged, there is some marks of oil on the floor
3. The headlight glass (Driver's right side) is needed
4. There is quite some noise at boot and rear door windows
5. Even on a slightly rough road, whole car make noise, I can see there are couple of bolts missing at different parts whenever I open bonnet
