Heer Ranjha Tomb @ Jhang Pakistan

I recently studied an article on Tribune about the current condition of Heer Ranjha's tomb is in shambles:

So I thought I should bring this to Pakwheels community because it is very under rated and low attention spot.
Since in this community there are lots of people who want to explore the history and want to go to new places which is not explored yet.

Since this tomb is in the city of my grand parents so its my duty to bring this place into peoples notice may be this will give exploring opportunity to some people and might wake up some authorities as well.

So I welcome everyone to please come on this topic and share your experience if you have been there, if you have not then i will give the info and will share my experience which I did few years ago.

Please feel free to ask questions and share your experiences if you have ever been to the city of Jhang.

My parents and grand parents are from Jhang but I lived almost all of my life in Rawalpindi.

I started from this community because these people are the for sure the potential visitor of the place in future hopefully.
Btw - I couldn't understand your point which referred to a drama serial, may be because I have not watched a single episode of it

Though i totally agree with you but I will avoid political discussion here.
Demographically this city is divided on the basis of many things most important factors are local (Punjabi speaking) and migrants (Urdu speaking) and secondly sect Shia and Sunni.
This has caused so much damage to this city.
Even the other surrounding cities has developed more than this city. you can guess by this that even the main city does not have Gas supply in main town let alone the surrounding villages. i wish i would have taken pics of its main roads when i was there last year

Aqeel bhai kudos to your effort I've seen some videos of Heer Ranjha and some articles before there are so many places are dying due to lackness but still we are Lumber one we've a community were we can educate our brothers and sisters to make these kind of places to be explored

Thanks @rehankillbill my purpose was to see how many people know about it before i start sharing about my trip but now i think lets do other way around, so I share my experience first and then people can know about it and go there whenever possible for them

The Tomb of famous old love story characters of Heer and Ranjha is situated in Jhang. I myself belong to Jhang but this place is not very well projected to people even I have been to Jhang about million times but never thought to visit this place until 2015.

This is very easily accessible if you are traveling on M4 i.e. Multan Pindi Bhattian motorway. Because this is little away from the main city so you won't face too much bad traffic.
If you are traveling from Multan towards north you can take Gojra exit on Jhang-Gojra road exit and then drive towards Jhang. if you are traveling from Faisal to Multan then you can take exit on Charaghabad Interchnge and drive towards Jhang.

I was on my normal yearly visit to see my grand parents. It came in my mind that I have time so I should visit Heer Ranjha tomb which I have never been able to go since I was child because it was little far from my grand parents house and no uncle was a fan of it to take us there
Anyway since I had my car so transport was no issue then I spoke with my cousins and they said they know where it is and 3 of them got ready to go with me.

Contrary to my assumption it just took us 30 minutes to reach to the spot, since we were coming from the mid of the city with too much rush otherwise its pretty simple if you are coming from out of city.
Only thing is that we have to ask couple of people because it didn't had any sign boards there.

Anyway - we parked the car and walked to the tomb for like 100 meters.

Same like other tombs and religious places there were lots of stalls were placed, which were selling lots of food items, followers and other items:

This tomb is actually located next to a graveyard.
