City is the worlds most ugly and uncomfortable car.

honda city iDsi is most fuel efficient non hybrid car in 1300cc category. If fuel efficiency is a requirement, stay away from swift. Swift is a fuel guzzler. If you do not like city iDsi, u may look into other options like corolla.
Whatever u buy, buy a clean one. A low model clean car is a much better buy than higher model messed up car.

Idsi on paper is very fuel efficient but in real underpowered newer city ivtec is much better on fuel compared to idsi

His budget is 9-10 lac. Finding a clean iVtec in this range is very difficult. He may find one with problems. So iDsi will be better in terms of condition and maintenance.
