What thing controls rpm when we turn on ac in 2.0d(2c) the problem is mine doesnt increase rpm when i turn on ac

Its factory installed but it doesnt have or its not working i have visited many ac guys one guy even said that these engine doesnt came with anything which increase rpm

- please post the pictures of engine bay & then u may need to check if any small dia black tube is connected over diesel pump and trace it backwards to a small switch. post pics in wide angle & of diesel pump so any of us can guide you

it will look something like this with a small dia tube trace it back if it is connected or not

the Pakistani models do not have that, the pump idle system can easily adjust for 200 rpm drop - If yours is not doing that then you have 2 choices.

1 - add that separate idle up system - you lose about 10% pedal as its pulled in by the idle up
2 - repair the injection pump to perfect, dead on accurate, original spec and install it with perfect dead on accurate timing.

I have 2010 diesel corolla and as far as I know rpm doesn't change when compressor kick in.

It's about 850. Anyhow due to old wiring the rpm sometimes drop when ac is on and all headlights are on. Hence car vibrate a bit but again drop is not much, yet you can see rpm drop when you press ac button.

My 2c is company fitted and I didn't get this vacuum switch for ac idle increase but my friend @raftechs901 has it in his 2C so I got this badtareen kind of jugar done for it but works fine.

It increases rpm about 200-250. My hot engine idle is about 750 so when I turn on AC picks the rpm to 1000.

On cold engine it has no effect as CSD keeps the rpm at 1000.

It was cheap I guess, 300 or 400 only. They call it vacuum. Its very common, just talk to some car AC technician, he must know it.

U'll need a switch too which will work when AC is turned on. This pipe is going to some box type thing on top of tappet cover. Just go to some AC tech who knows his work and your problem will be solved.

Dam 100% same problem with my 2d as well, when i turn on ac the rpm drops i even notice that when i put my ac throw to full power by giving accelerator the ac throw increases and ac guy told me a story that 2d doesnt have this switch kind thing which will increase its rpm u will have to install it.

i left it there and didnt touched any thing

thats true its not pre installed in 2c engine here but it worth it
